When I decided I wanted to get away from store bought, potentially toxic cleaners I bought this book. It is full of recipes for cleaning just about everything in my house. I particularly like that if my silly dog sticks his face in my mopping bucket, he wont have a chance of getting sick even if he takes a few gulps. You will need to invest a little upfront. I bought a variety pack of essential oils, a box of borax, a huge bottle of cheap vodka and isopropyl alcohol. I also bought the Clean Mama Essentials Kit by Murchison-Hume. I will be reusing these fantastic bottles once they are empty. It will take a while to get through some of the cleaning products that I already have, but I definitely wont be buying anymore! I love that I will be saving money and the earth by making my own.
